This is a Wafer Fab process engineer, preferably with background in InP
Responsibilities
- Process Development and Sustaining Engineering for InP wafer processes
for current and new products.
- Main focus will be on development and sustaining wet etch, facet coating
and metallization processes.
- Strong collaborative and communications skills are required for
interaction with the Process Engineering team, Manufacturing, Design team,
Failure Analysis and other cross-functional project teams.
- Expected to develop and maintain documentation and statistical process control
charts appropriate to a manufacturing facility.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in E.E. or M.E or ChE or related fields; or equivalent experience.
- 5 or more years experience in characterization and processing of III-V based laser and detectors.
- Experience with device fabrication especially in wet etch, facet coating and metallization are required.
- Experience with device physics is a plus.
- Experience with SPC rules, control charts, and other aspects of manufacture operations are required.
