Senior Process Engineer

the cost and performance of our customers’ electronic systems.
Candidates needs to have the ability to help drive process development and engineering in a
production line by characterizing processes and tools, implementing
process controls, and establishing manufacturing discipline. Ability
to identify and mitigate high risk areas of development
identify root causes, and then develop and implement solutions as
required. Also required is the ability to communicate effectively
throughout the organization, organize the team for success, and
drive employee development. Activities include defining pr
cess windows, documenting process procedures and pass/fail criteria,
training of operators, implementing process monitors and release to
manufacturing criteria, establishing SPC procedures, establishing
process limits, yield improvement, process optimizat
on, final test, cycle time and cost reduction, and process integration.
Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and document processes.
- Process Integration
- Train operators.
- Responding and correcting process excursions through root cause
identification and corrective action implementation. Ability to
coordinate across various functions and drive this activity.
- Maintain and monitor all internal and vendor processes by
implementing statistical process controls, daily monitors,
and release to manufacturing procedures and checklists.
- Monitor and implement process changes to enhance product yields
- Establish process controls and procedures consistent w/ ISO certification.
- Support customer audits.
Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in Chemical/Materials Engineering/Mechanical
Engineering (or equivalent) + 5-10 years of experience in
semiconductor or packaging manufacturing or equivalent.
- Experience implementing quality programs (ISO, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate target objectives into project
plans and project schedules, and then execute these plans.
- Hands on experience with a strong technical background in
lithography, etch, plating, lamination, drill, and route.
Familiarity in stamping and forming, and the associated impact of these processes on microstructure a plus.
- Experience with process development and transfer to off-shore manufacturing facilities.
- Ability to design, conduct, and interpret complex experiments (DOEs)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills a must.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of electrical interconnect technology a plus
- Ability to speak Mandarin and Cantonese a plus
