Harvey holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Michigan, completed Army Specialized Training in electrical engineering, and has taken many subsequent EE courses. He spent a number of years as a Component Evaluation Engineer, first at GTE, then at Unisys. He is the creator of FABFILE, a proprietary data base covering the world printed circuit fabrication industry. He is newsletter editor for INFRA-FOCUS, covering interconnection and packaging (all the way from chip to box) technology and business.
