Page Charge Authorization

Please return the requested information to your Associate or Guest Editor.

Prior to scheduling the publication of your paper, it is necessary for you to signify your intent regarding page charges. These are computed as follows:

Regular page charge for up to eight (8) journal pages (at $110 per page). If your company/institution honors the invoice for regular page charges, you will receive 100 complimentary, bound copies of your paper as printed in the Transactions.

Mandatory overlength page charge for pages in excess of eight (8) pages (at $175 per page). The mandatory page charge fee must be paid (for papers that exceed 8 pages). Otherwise, the paper must be reduced to eight or fewer journal pages.

You can estimate the number of journal pages required for your paper, as follows:

3 typewritten (12-point text, 6 lines/inch) double-spaced A1-size (8-1/2 x 11 inches) sheets equals 1 typeset journal page;

5 figures up to 21 picas (3.5 inches) equals 1 typeset journal page;

3 figures, over 21 picas, up to 43 picas (7 inches) equals 1 typeset journal page.

Please give some consideration to the fact that figures are reduced to fit into IEEE specifications; most figures will be reduced to fit into 21 picas. See the Transactions for examples. Reduction of the figures is based on the original size of the figure and the size of lettering within the figure.

The actual number of pages that will be invoiced will be determined by the actual number of pages which are published in the CPMT Transactions.
