CPMT Technical Committee
on Wafer Level Packaging (TC-18)

TC-18 is the focal point within the CPMT Society for packaging at the wafer level. This technology is defined by BEOL (back end of line) processing which results in a fully packaged and tested die prior to dicing. Global membership consists of individuals having an interest in the research, development, manufacture, test and utilization of wafer level chip scale packages.

Associated activities:
* Electronic Components and Technology Conference (ECTC)
* Int'l Symposium on Advanced Packaging Materials
* VLSI & GaAs Chip Packaging Workshop (U.S., Japan, Europe)

Future Activities:

  1. A Special Section on WL CSP will appear in the Nov 1999 issue of the IEEE Transactions on Advanced Packaging.

  2. We are putting together a document defining what parameters need to be addressed for reporting WLP reliability.

Contact the Chairman if you have a potential contribution or have any questions.
